Officially, they only have Vista on these laptops, but you can find xp drivers on the Acer site. I made a stupid mistake, deleted the recovery partition that was 20 gb and installed xp. Problem is that playing videofiles wasn't possible without any problem(loading very slow and a processor working overtime when playing) So, I still have the problem on my laptop and without hardware acceleration I can't use the video effects. On my laptop with a 8400M G geforce card, it says that it can't find the database: Cannot find database for Forceware 156.10.ĭownloaded every XP driver, but non of them could be installed ( setup could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your hardware) On my pc I got the same problem and it was solved with the Rivatuner. The problem can be solved by downloading en installing "Rivatuner". The problem with a lot of Nvidia cards is that when you enable hardware acceleration on the video tab, the video freezes(Depending on your Nvidia card). Without hardware acceleration no freezes but then I can´t use videoeffects. When I try to mix video with hardware acceleration on, the video freezes. Laptop Acer with XP (standard is Vista home but that ask too much memory and power) Please help me with this videomixing problem:
